Daniel Diggle is firmly a part of the creative industries' freelance economy, working on apps, interactive campaigns and websites for a host of big global brands.
Diggle told Brand Republic that the best part of going freelance was choosing what to work on and who to work with, allowing him to control his own destiny and direction as a freelancer. He also gave some great advice for how freelancers can stand out:
Do or make work. Whether it’s personal projects, working with other people or through talks and events, just as long as you’re making stuff and doing stuff outside of your normal commercial work, that’s the thing that’s most interesting to new clients and other creative agencies.
